Meet Florice, a lovely young male cria born on 5th August during our 2025 birthing season.

Florice arrived in rather dramatic fashion — he was born right in the middle of Storm Florice, out in strong wind and rain. Despite the wild weather, it certainly didn’t slow him down and he has been thriving from the very beginning.

He is healthy, hardy, and very low-maintenance, with no issues nursing or feeding from day one, and has grown into a strong, well-developed youngster.

Florice has a quiet and slightly shy personality. He’s a gentle boy who simply gets on with life without any fuss. He enjoys having a little nose around to see what’s happening but is a bit less confident than some of the bigger characters in the herd.

He’s easy to handle and cooperative on husbandry days, making him a straightforward alpaca to care for.

He is currently undergoing halter training following weaning and is progressing nicely.

With his calm nature and easy-going temperament, Florice would make a lovely addition to any herd or a great companion for someone looking for a quieter, gentle alpaca.
